2nd Anniverary/Birthday Gift

In a couple months it's my husband's birthday & our 2nd anniversary (same day). I'm usually pretty good at coming up with something creative, but this year, I'm not sure. My hubby loves summer - walking, skimboarding, surfing, going to the beach. We also love to travel and play games. I know all that stuff offers some obvious gift choices, but I want to do something less ordinary...any help?

My apologies for the late reply to your question. Your anniversary and hubby's birthday have undoubtedly already passed, but I'll give you some suggestions for future gift opportunities anyway.

Since you guys spend a lot of time a the beach and you mentioned playing games and traveling, here's what I have come up with.

xzylo.com has come cool flying gyroscopes that would be great to throw around at the beach - you know, like a Frisbee, but better. :)

A set of magnetic playing cards with game board would make any card games easy when traveling.

Perhaps a new snorkel/mask/fin set, if he's into that type of thing.

And the practical side me (yeah, it comes out every once in a while) thinks a back-pack type cooler/picnic basket would be very useful for trips to the beach or even road trips.

Honestly, I wasn't thinking that any one of these things would be a spectacular gift in itself, but if you could make all of them into a sort of gift basket. Just put the games and snorkel and stuff inside the backpack cooler and call it a Beach/Travel gift set!
