What exactly are water scooters, anyway? The simple definition is a device that propels you through or on the water. But the real answer lies in quite a few variations on that definition, and it offers a lot more fun, too!

Seascooter by Sea-Doo

Many of you know water scooters as those made by Seadoo, better known as the Seascooter. This type is submersed and uses a propeller to "scoot" you through the water at 2-3 mph.

Hydrofoil Scooter

Want something a bit faster? Take a look at the hydrofoil water scooters. This resembles more of a "land scooter", where you stand up on the scooter out of the water. This one is manually propelled by your own hopping motion (no battery or engine), and can reach speeds of 17mph!
